Do you own an external Hard-Disk? Is it in proper working condition? If no, you must read out this article and if yes..... you must still go through this because who knows, when will it stop functioning.
If it has stopped functioning, do not think that you have lost all the data that was stored on it. The problem is not with the disk but with the PCB chip used in it. To replace this chip you just need to open the cover panel of the hard-disk inside which you will find the main disk on which the data is stored and the actual problem usually lies within the PCB chip. To fix this you can replace that chip or even buy a complete casing which is a better option according to me.
You can buy the casing from any shop nearby (if available) or from Amazon >> Hard Disk Casing

NOTE:- It is a possibility that this may not work for a few. But in most cases, this can be a solution. Anyways you can afford to buy a cheap casing or chip in order to recover your important data.
